Adventures in Kaposvár – Cinema, Book Shopping, and Hiking
Kaposvár Group 1 spent a busy day together on Saturday, May 4th. The day started with a movie that highlighted the endurance of humans and animals. The film, “Arthur the King,” follows Michael Light and his determined team as they take on an extraordinary 10-day, 700-kilometer extreme sports world championship in the jungles of the Dominican Republic. For the adventure-seeking athlete, this is his last chance to achieve the long-desired first place. During the journey, a stray dog unexpectedly joins them. A strong bond quickly forms between Michael and the peculiar yet dignified animal. Based on true events, the story left a profound impact on viewers, with its touching ending bringing tears to many eyes.
“I really liked the movie; it told a serious story. It highlights how many animals are neglected or abused. What I also loved was the determination and perseverance of the main characters. The film became very endearing, with the heart-wrenching yet wonderful story being gradually built up. In short, it was a very enjoyable film, full of action.” Kíra Kecskés, Kaposvár Group 1
After the movie, we headed to the bookstore. The group had previously won a substantial book voucher, which we spent on Saturday.
“It was incredibly difficult to choose from the vast selection of books. I was glad that Ms. Zsuzsa let us decide which books we wanted to buy, but her help was necessary because the choice was overwhelming. I hope I made the right choice in the end.” Olivér Jakab, Kaposvár Group 1
In the afternoon, we visited the Kaposvár City Park and the nearby playground, where the children had a great time.
