Being asked for 40 minutes
Entering the Community House in Kaposvár I felt a bit tired but got excited within a few minutes.
It was because the English oral exam. I realized that everyone else had disapperared and I am the only one who had not taken the exam, yet. I knew that I would be the next one. Entering the classroom I was a bit nervous, but after some brain storming I felt self-confident. First, I had to explain how the ideal holiday looks like for me. I was trying to persuade the teachers how well-prepared I was and I did my best. I thought: ’That was it’, but David had a surprise for me. He really wanted to know how good my English was, so he was asking many questions. We were talking about the nuclear catastrophe of Chernobil, the structure of a water powerplant, but some other things were mentioned, too, just as the advantages of public transport and the disadvantages of cloning and genetical engineering. The time was running very fast. When I left the room I realized that the whole thing had taken 40 minutes! I knew that I did my best, however concentrating for such a long time was a bit tiring. I was pleased with my achievement, so I was smiling when leaving the Community House.
