“Fuss a Rákgyógyításért” Charity Run in Pécs
On Saturday, September 12, the University of Pécs held its 13th annual “Fuss a Rákgyógyításért” charity run. Despite the rainy weather, the core members of the Pécs 3 group, along with their families, were not deterred from participating in this noble cause. This event has become a tradition for the group, symbolizing their commitment to supporting those in need. The proceeds from the registration fees were donated to the university’s children’s clinic foundation, specifically to aid the recovery of children battling cancer. The funds will go towards constructing a specialized sterile room for severely immunocompromised children with cancer, as the department is set to relocate soon.
Participation in this event was not only about promoting a love of sport and healthy living but also about coming together for a charitable cause.
