Film shooting and egg hunting in Kaposvár
The first day of the spring break in Kaposvár was eventful, as we celebrated Easter and continued with the film project at the Kaposvár Community Center.
“In the film project, we came up with a series storyline, designed characters, and wrote scenes. The goal was to create a trailer for this story, which we would shoot ourselves and then edit together. We thought and planned a lot, with the help of developer Péter Kántor and our mentor. Eventually, we figured out what we wanted to create and started shooting. Since we needed a male character, I drew a beard and mustache for myself and volunteered to play the role. Shooting was very exciting, and we laughed a lot during the process.” – Lilian Francsics, Kaposvár 1st group
“On Thursday, our mentor organized an Easter afternoon for us. First, we did crafts and made Easter gifts, then came everyone’s favorite activity: chocolate hunting. Easter chocolates were hidden all over the yard, and we had to find them. We didn’t have to worry about anyone missing out on chocolate because we found plenty of sweets. The chocolate eggs were hidden in the most unlikely places, but in the end, we managed to find them all. (At least we hope so.) With the help of Dani bácsi, the mentor of the 3rd group, we also learned a traditional egg-dyeing technique. We cooked the eggs with red onion skins, giving them a beautiful reddish-brown color. After all this, we still had time for a dance rehearsal because we are preparing for the Life Path Festival, where we will present a dance performance.” – Ramóna Budavári, Kaposvár 1st group
