I won a camera!
Balázs Gila, a Foundation grantee from Sveti, first encountered photography in 2020, when he joined the team of nature photographers mentored by Péter Mikics. Since then, he has regularly participated in all of these events and last year he even entered his first nature photography competition. She also enjoys this hobby in her spare time and has improved her skills over the past two years. Recently, the Matrix Foundation launched a competition where participants could submit one image each. Balázs’ photo was announced the winner and he won a great digital camera with a lens. Congratulations to Balázs, many nice pictures and photo experiences in the future!
“On 3 February in Szeged I received the camera and lens that I won in the competition of the Matrix Foundation. According to the call for entries, I had to send a picture that I had taken and write a reason why I needed it. I wouldn’t have got this camera if my mentor Sanya Bácsi and Peti bácsi from Szeged hadn’t brought it to my attention and helped me with the application. When I found out that I had won the competition, I was very happy, because I would like to continue my photography, for which a complete equipment is essential. I hope to take many beautiful pictures with this camera. Finally, I would like to thank the Csányi Foundation and the Matrix Foundation for all this.
