Jászberény – the fifth stop
On 16th December the half term language exams have finished. We see each other in April!
Jászberény
On the 16th of December there was the language competition’s oral part in Jászberény. The examenees were Judit Hollósi-Simon and Mrs. Némedi Béres Judit and their two helpers: Kathy Fu from AIESEC and Zachary del Rosario, a Fulbright scholar. The 26 children, speaking English and German at a B1,B2 and C1 level, had their oral exams today. We can say that we improved a lot from last year but we also have to do some more exercise owing to our lack of knowledge in the field of grammar and vocabulary. The exam ended up quite well, but was very long. Speaking to the foreigners worked well during the exam and after that. All the children enjoyed this examination, and were pleased to have a conversation with Kathy and Zachary.

Szeged
Today 40 kids had English language exams for B1, B2, C1 levels. We started in the early afternoon and finished late in the evening. Globalization, genetic engineering, economics, environment, euthanasia were the topics on C1 level. The exam situation itself did not cause any problems for the kids, as it was a common situation for them. However, the topics were challenging. They all have taken B2 exams and are preparing themselves for the next level. We are proud of them as most of them prepared themselves well, but there is a way to go. See you in April!

Pécs
Today Pécs was on the row. We were the examiners and are very proud of our students as we can see how much they have developed since the summer camp. It was a great challenge because they had to perform not any more on A2 but B1 level. We as teachers are convinced that each and every language exam organised by the Foundation are useful and essential. Congratulations to the children! We can hardly wait for the next exam coming up in April.

Kaposvár
Excited children filled the Community House of Kaposvár, as in the afternoon the oral language exams started in English and German languages. 14 students of the 2nd and 3d group of Kaposvár took the exam at levels B1, B2 and C1. In spite of the excitement and pressure, everybody overcame the difficulties and successfully passed the exam. Congratulations!
Nagybajom
The first stop was Nagybajom where the kids took exams on A2, B1, B2, C1 levels from the English and the German languages. All of them performed well.
As our volunteer saw it:
„Today we had our language exam, which is the oral examination part of the language competition. This event was especially interesting, because the future high school students took part in this event for the first time. The 34 students of the 3 groups managed to solve the colourful tasks in English and in German language. It was a great experience for me that I could try myself as an examiner, as well.” Bogdán Mária Eszter, volunteer
