February – Language project
Jászberény: On Tuesday we had a surprise before our German class. When we entered the room we thought there is a stranger in the middle of it. But she was only Mariann, our German teacher. That time we knew the topic of today’s class will be the carneval. I liked especially the word counter quiz in the Internet which is based on the traditions of the carnival in Germany. Suprisly assumed that the carnival has a lot of name and the fifth season of the year whivh is carnival is starting at 11:11 in the 11st of November. In the end of the lesson everybody made a mask. And of course not carnival the carnival without Krapfen which is the German term for doughnut. We ate it fast. Ferenc Horváth, Zalán Darabont Jászság 3.
The children of Jászság 3 took pleasure in arts and crafts showing their creativity and talent in making Valentine’s cards and writing rhymes. Besides the already known facts of this imported holiday, they could learn some interesting details of its origins to give a Hungarian touch to this afternoon, the kids could taste our traditional doughnut.
