Advocacy Forum in Kaposvár
The members of the Advocacy Forum met at the end of September in the Community House of Kaposvár. A new member, Orsolya Királyné Szabó was introduced as the representative of Group 4 in Kaposvár. Ibolya Czene, the representative of all the groups in Kaposvár, informed us about the meeting that took place in Mohács in October. We talked about the introduction of a new social scholarship system, the experiences of the portfolio, the still-existing motivational problems and the parents’ responsibilities. The parents, the mentors and the representative of the Children’s Parliament unanimously agreed that urgent changes were needed in order to reduce absenteeism and to sustain the motivation of both the children and their parents to strengthen their commitment toward the Foundation.
