‘Why fear, why live, if not for a dream?’
I’m not really a man of words. I prefer actions, doing things in silence and without all the buzz around me. I’ve read somewhere that when life gives you lemons, don’t worry, make lemonade. In essence this is what the Foundation taught me over the years. I’ve learnt, for example, to always take the opportunities that arise, to never give up and to fight for my future and my dreams. Those aren’t unreachable, though, as I also learnt to see the real picture and set goals I can achieve. My goal was to learn a profession I like after graduating from secondary school, buy a little car for myself and live and work in the town that I so much love and where feel at home. I can only tell my fellows who are still in education to take every bit of the huge opportunity the Csányi Foundation means. Make as many true friends as I made over the years. I am very thankful for all of this and as I said at the beginning, I’m not a man of words, so I can’t really express my gratitude and happiness that I could be a part of this community. I felt awesome here and I will always be immensely thankful for all the experience and support I got from the Foundation.
