BIOGRAPHIES – FUTURE VISIONS
On Saturday, February 11, we also took part in a session at the Community Hall. Aunt Gyöngyi awaited us with the usual delicious breakfast, and then we split into two teams. One team started with Marci Sebők, where we got to know finances better. We really enjoyed it, it smuggled games into everything and gathered useful information. We talked about how much we would like to earn as a career starter, we found out what the minimum wage is. We have collected the types of basic expenses and how much it costs to live in a month. It was also discussed what is worth thinking about in terms of savings, what is a low and high risk investment. Meanwhile, the other team spent two precious hours with Aunt Melinda, the museum teacher. They took part in an interactive session full of games called Life Portraits. We learned how at the turn of the century a boy and a girl had the opportunity to meet to express their feelings. We paired pictures with events, and learned what make-up and coma are. Handing over the coma bowl is a very beautiful, symbolic rite, with which eternal friendships were made. The two people who gave each other a coma bowl accompanied and helped each other throughout their entire lives. Then they drew two human figures, one representing today’s attire for a party, and the other the clothes worn at old balls. First, we took into account the clothes, then the customs were also found. We compared the old and new habits and formulated what we would like to transfer from the old to the present. The two groups alternated, and during the morning everyone participated in sessions on both topics. Lunch awaited us, then Eszter Tuba Hanna continued her hobby workshop. On this occasion, everyone can present how they spend their time, what is important to them when they are not at school or in Csányi. Our presentation skills also improve once in a while, because we can present to each other using PPT. Eszter talked about sports, we also received interesting information about athletics and the Olympics. This day was also very good.
