Online Essentials done
„The summer ended with an ECDL exam for the students in Kaposvár. Members of Groups 1 and 2 have been familiarizing with the use of online interfaces over the last few days. Students learned, among other things, what „cookies” meant, how to use email programs, how to make a screenshot, or how to use the help feature, for example. I was surprised to see how cheerful and open-minded the team is even when it comes to learning, especially in the summer heat. They asked me a lot of questions and usually accepted my advice and paid attention to what I was saying.
The groups celebrated with a well-deserved pizza and ice-cream after the exams. We do hope that everyone has passed the exam successfully. I’m sure the preparation was thorough, so it could only bring good results. I am very grateful to the Csányi Foundation that I could do a part of my community service here. I would like to join the teams again in autumn to help them prepare for the next module.”

“As the summer holiday is almost over, we have started the work in the Community House of Kaposvár. The groups 1 and 2 are preparing for their next ECDL exam, the current topic is the internet and web basics. On the first day we became familiar with some of the key concepts, in the form of a research conducted individually, then we shared our ideas regarding the dangers of social networking sites. When we were ready with the assignments, we had some time to relax. Some of us decided to practice for the next Fifa tournament, while others were having fun playing table soccer. Three volunteers are also helping us during the camp, carrying out their community service.” Maria Camacho Group 1, Lilla Fekete Group 2
