I became a graduate
“It’s very difficult to summarise in a nutshell what it meant to me to be a “Csányis”. Since I was in fifth grade, the Community House was my second home and my mentors were the ones who smoothed my path the most. When my family couldn’t be there with me and by my side, I could count on the Foundation. My mentors always encouraged me and stood by me when I was feeling discouraged and wanted to give up during these long six and a half years of university. My mentors really believed in me even when I couldn’t. I gained a lot of experience, participated in many unforgettable camps that broadened my horizons and got involved in fundraising work that expanded my professional repertoire. And in András Gál, my mentor, I found a role model, I would like to be a teacher who can easily connect with children and who is dedicated to working for their benefit. In addition to my mentors, I owe a debt of gratitude to the Foundation’s management for supporting me over such a long period of time and for always providing help and security in difficult situations. I thank the Foundation for the years I have spent here and for all the support.” Nikoletta Roubál, Group 2, Pécs, English and German language teacher
