“We started the morning with a shared breakfast, then packed up our gear and headed to the CSÁSZ Cup. Before the tournament, we discussed our tactics and warmed up together to bring our best possible form.

We started our first match with a confident 5–0 victory, which gave the team great momentum. Following this, we secured two more wins, both ending 4–0, so we entered the fourth match with three wins under our belt. This match was a true head-to-head battle, with a great struggle throughout as both teams gave their all to win. In the end, we managed to secure a very important 1–0 victory. Unfortunately, we suffered a 3–0 defeat in the fifth and final match, but this no longer affected our final standing.

The team delivered a great performance throughout the tournament, winning four out of the five matches, meaning the Foundation Select Team claimed this year’s CSÁSZ Cup trophy! This success was thanks to our team spirit, togetherness, and determination, so we can be rightfully proud of the result achieved. Furthermore, Ádám Molnár, our teammate from Szentes, took home the award for the best player of the tournament.

At the end of the day, we attended the Csíkszereda–Budapest Hockey Academy match, which ended in a 4–2 away victory. This was my first hockey game; the atmosphere was fantastic—a true derby setting welcomed us, enriching us with a genuinely exciting sports experience.

On the second day, we visited the thousand-year-old border, where we viewed the Rákóczi Castle in Gyimesbükk, and then continued our program with alpine coaster riding at Skigyimes in Gyimesfelsőlok. The track had plenty of turns, and I managed to ride down four times. We really enjoyed both programs and gained many wonderful memories.

Overall, we can look back on extremely rich and memorable days. The successful cup performance, the shared programs, and the unforgettable atmosphere all contributed to us returning home with many wonderful memories.”
