Talent Selection 2025 – Nagybajom

Talent Selection 2025 – Nagybajom

In 2025, the Csányi Foundation announced an application for its Life Path Program, aimed at talented, disadvantaged children completing the 4th grade of primary school in the 2024/25 academic year. Within the framework of the program, up to 15 children each from Szentes, Pécs, and Nagybajom and its surrounding region can be selected.

Following the selection events in Szentes and Pécs, the talent selection in Nagybajom took place from March 28 to 30. As in the previous locations, applicants had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge by completing reading comprehension and mathematics tests over the course of the three-day event.

While the children worked on the tests, the parents attended informative presentations by Dr. Miklós Radoszáv, László Gázsik, and Nadin Kuckó. Later, supported students from Nagybajom—Laura Sándor and Milán Vajda—shared their personal experiences in the Foundation. During the morning, both children and parents participated in drama activities.

After lunch, the candidates presented their portfolios during personal interviews, explaining why they would like to become part of the Csányi Foundation community. A new element this year was the inclusion of a short interview with the parents as well.

We were especially honored to be joined by two of the Foundation’s trustees during the selection: Dr. Mária Gődény (Dr. Istvánné Polony) and Rózsa Palkovics. We thank them warmly for their presence and for participating in the interviews with the children.

Families of the selected children will be notified by post following the final decision.

Our heartfelt thanks go to the mentors from Nagybajom and Kaposvár, as well as the junior mentors from Nagybajom, for helping ensure the smooth running of the program and contributing to such a rich and memorable experience for the children and their families.

Thank you to everyone who honored us with their presence. We hope the children returned home with many wonderful memories!
