Wandering in Transylvania
On 19th July we set off to Transylvania, which is the first station of a trip that covers many areas of the historical Hungary.
The first stop was Nagyszalonta where we remembered Arany János the famous writer of the town. We also visited the Szalonta Tower, had a rest at King Passage and enjoyed the beautiful view of the nature. At 7 pm we arrived in Kalotaszentkirály where we spent the first night. The owner of Bishop Pension welcomed us with a delicious dinner and with authentic rooms. After dinner traditional folk costumes for men and women of Kalotaszeg were shown to us. We also could enjoy the information given on the local customs, traditions and history that both countries used to share. The evening was closed with chats and music.
