Adventi napok Szegeden
On December 14, members of Szeged Group 3 came together for a shared Advent celebration. The afternoon began with a role-playing game led by some high schoolers, followed by the arrival of university students and parents.
The evening officially opened with a poem performed by Fanni Török, setting a heartfelt tone for the gathering. This was followed by casual conversations and a crafting session. Holiday tunes played softly in the background, and the room was filled with festive scents, creating the perfect atmosphere for creativity.
Participants, both young and old, embraced their inner child as they crafted decorative spoons from bakeable clay. These creations became the perfect personalized gifts to place under the Christmas tree, removing the stress of finding meaningful presents for loved ones.
This intimate and joyful evening was enjoyed by all, and we hope that everyone’s holiday season will be just as delightful!
Patyi Izabella, Fábián Berta, Szeged Group 3
On December 15, members of Szeged Groups 1 and 2 gathered with their families, guests, and mentors to celebrate Advent.
„Harang csendül,
Ének zendül,
Messze zsong a hálaének,
Az én kedves kis falumban
Karácsonykor
Magába száll minden lélek.”
English translation:
“Bells softly chime,
Songs arise,
A hymn of gratitude resounds afar.
In my dear little village,
At Christmas,
Every soul reflects inward.”
These words, recited by Hanna Lea Kece, opened the festive program prepared by members of Group 1, based on their own creative ideas. The program included additional poetry recitations in both Hungarian and English, a welcome speech from the student parliament representative, as well as individual and choral performances.
