My most important race this season
The National Junior and U23 Athletics Championship took place in Debrecen this year.
In the 100 metres sprint I qualified 5th overall for the final, where I reached the same position in a close finish. The next day, I had the 6th best time in the heats, and I came 4th in the final. Despite the headwind and adverse weather conditions I managed to achieve a time I would be proud of even in normal conditions. The stakes were really high, as performing well here could earn me a spot in the national junior team. I can’t wait to learn how the Hungarian Athletics Association decides…
