FitKid success

It’s been almost 7 years since Fittkid became a part of my life. Even as a child, I knew that this sport would mean a lot to me. When I started Fittkid, I was strengthening the Szentes Veritas Fitness team. Now, I have been a member of the Csongrád Fitness club for 2 years. My coaches quickly recognized that I excelled in this sport, so I became part of many team routines and “gyaki” (individual practice). However, I only received my own routine in 2020. Back then, I was still competing in Fittkid. My coach noticed early on that I was better at the dance part of the routine, so my scores began to drop. Since I had made many friends in the Szentes club, four of us decided to try training at the Csongrád Club for our own development. Thus, in 2022, I moved to Csongrád. That’s when a new competition format called Dance Free was introduced in Fittkid, which emphasizes dance more. I tried it and, of course, achieved much better scores and results. This year, we had a national competition at the beginning of the year where I placed 3rd. Then, on June 16, 2024, there was the International Acro Dance Free competition in Balatonfüred, where we competed against the Poles. The competition was tight in every age group, and the Polish competitors were very well-prepared. My age group was also very strong. I performed at 11 AM and the awards ceremony was at 3 PM. All the clubs and dance schools stood on the stage together to learn the results. But before that, we celebrated the birthdays with a cake. Then, the results were announced. I cheered for everyone, and our team achieved very good results. When it was my age group’s turn, I was greatly surprised when I was called to the second step of the podium. This result also surprised my coaches. I closed the season with this beautiful result. After that, I had some well-deserved rest waiting for me on the shores of Lake Balaton. But there’s no slacking off in the summer either because training camps and workshops are coming up. Of course, this achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the help of my coaches: Judit Kátai, Heni Hevesi, and Dóri Lovas.
