Prepering for Talent Selection in Kaposvár
On the first Saturday of March, enthusiastic young people, university students, and parents gathered from groups 2 and 3 in Kaposvár to prepare our Community House for the upcoming auditions. Aside from external preparations, our diligent team tidied up the courtyard after its winter slumber: we collected fallen leaves and noted that it was unusually early for the first mowing of the lawn.
The boys dug up the garden, and together we planted lettuce and radish seeds, adding onions as well. We plan to include herbs in the soil, and inspired by last year’s success, we’ll also plant pepper and tomato seedlings in our garden. Hopefully, we’ll enjoy a meal together with the new team from Kaposvár.
Cleaning duties were primarily handled by the girls, from dusting cobwebs to cleaning windows, although there were enthusiastic boys helping too. Subsequently, setting up the rooms and spaces required mainly physical strength, which the boys gladly provided.
Once everything was done, and all the details were in place, with everything shining and orderly, we sat down with parents and mentors to discuss the tasks and the detailed program plan for the two-day event ahead. We are ready and eagerly await our big event on March 8th and 9th.
