Educatio 2024
“The 11th grade students in our group have been thinking about further education lately, so today we went to the Educatio exhibition, the International Education Exhibition in Budapest, but before that we visited the Renoir exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts, which was extended so we could admire it. Many of the painter’s famous paintings and portraits were on display, depicting moments and everyday life of the time. My personal favourite of these is a work by Claude Monet, Renoir’s good friend, who is also an amazing painter and they worked together many times. But I also really liked his paintings with their happy atmosphere, it felt like I was there. It was good to see this special exhibition.” Olivér Kóczián Group 3 Jászság
“At the Educatio exhibition we had the opportunity to visit the stands of many universities. Our small group became separate as we have different interests, so those of us interested in communication were able to talk at length with young students from ELTE, BGE and Károli Gáspár University. Andris Oláh asked about the Transport Engineering degree at the Széchenyi István University stand. We were able to find out what they do at ELTE and BME’s Faculty of Informatics, who they offer their courses to and what is required for admission. In addition to the universities, there were several companies exhibiting, we looked at what Mercedes does in the automotive industry, and Bosch used what techniques they use to make their tools and what innovations they have. We even got to see the Unitree Go2 quadruped robot, a technology that can perform rescue and exploration work in dangerous and uneven places, saving lives, and could also play a key role in robotics education. Thank you for a meaningful day!” Kristóf Kaszab Jászság Group 3
