School guide in Szentes
The Foundation’s groups in Szentes are in eighth grade and are about to choose a career path. Many schools in the region hold or have held open days and visiting classes, and our students who are interested take advantage of these opportunities. However, the Diana Technical College of Arms and Armament in Csongrád honoured them by paying a personal visit to our community centre and giving an information session on their training. The “delegation”, made up of teacher Attila Kiss and three students, gave an informative presentation on the recently founded institution’s courses, the structure of the courses and the subjects taught. They also described in detail their own scholarship system, the possibilities for further higher education, and the options for finding a job on the labour market. They said that the school’s students are not only boys, but also an increasing number of girls, and that they have recently launched a sports coaching and sports organisation course. After the briefing, the children were shown the “hands-on” work of the professionals trained here, with the cadets showing them how to dismantle and reassemble several weapons. We received a meaningful and useful information, thank you to the school for the opportunity!
