Dear Csányi Foundation!
The time has come. It’s time to say thank you and – in a certain way – goodbye. We have spent 13 years together (although stylistically not the most correct, but when written down in numbers it is more emphatic and more real even for myself), more than half of my 24 years. So much joy, so many sacrifices, so much learning and so many tired Saturday afternoons have filled these 13 years. As a young child, and then as a young adult, a person changes a lot in a few years, not to mention in more than a decade, but you have adapted to these changes as a stable constant all along.
I have changed a lot too – hopefully for the better. There have been easier days and harder days, there have been successes and instructive failures, but at the end of the day, one thing has mattered: You stood by me and helped me when I was in trouble, and I stood by you and helped you when I was needed. You were like a multi-functional companion along my journey: a good friend, a teacher and most importantly, a family all the way.
Several times along the way I was stuck at a red light, which you turned green. Later, you taught me how to turn a red light to green, or to be patient enough to change the light or even to find another way to get to your destination.
I don’t know if I can thank you enough for all you have done for me. I don’t even know if I can tell all the experiences we had together. Words probably can’t express it, – or maybe it’s just my writing vein that’s limited.
Thank you very much for standing by me and helping me to realise my childhood dream Csányi Foundation! I promise I will never forget this, and as a good friend, as a family member, I will always be there for you when you need me, and help you to help as many young children as possible to achieve their dreams.
Sincerely,
dr Faragó Brúnó Gusztáv certified lawyer, Group 1 Szeged
