Ildikó Nagy has worked as a mentor for the Csányi Foundation since 2006.
Ildikó was nominated for the Attila Ágoston Award by her mentoring partner and, most importantly, by her younger and older “children” – two university students and one high school student.
Many of the young people in her group have already successfully completed the Guidance Programme: 4 have graduated with a vocational qualification, 1 has completed a FOSZ course, 5 have graduated so far and 4 are still active students. The youngest supported of his group are in grade 10 and are preparing for their Portfolio Evaluation.
Ildikó is a multi-faceted and colourful personality, but what should be highlighted is the artistic activities she does with children in the Community Centre and in the felting section of the Arts and Crafts camp. With the support of the Foundation and Ildikó’s immense humility towards the arts, the Déryné 6 Gallery was created in the Jászberény Community Centre, which provides an opportunity for many artists from Jászberény and the Foundation to present their work. She also runs an art therapy course for students in Budapest as part of the S10 Academy.
