Spring celebrations at the S10 Academy
In the spirit of celebrating spring, the S10 Academy’s Roundtable Discussion series continued, with Adriána Kalafszky, soprano opera singer and leader of the Csányi Foundation Chamber Orchestra, as the perfect guest. The evening, dominated by floral motifs, was spent in the magnificent Villa Bagatelle, where, over a light dinner, we chatted with Adriána about her childhood, her life, her enormous stamina and her seemingly inexhaustible drive. In addition to a life story that was instructive for all, we learned a lot about her love for the Baroque period, opera, singing and the world around her. It was a real motivation to hear how far one can go if one really does one’s best to make the most of one’s inherent talent, but also how important it is to give back – or as St Augustine said, “if something is inherently good, it does not run out when it is shared, but becomes more.”
Thank you very much to Adriana for accepting our invitation and for an enjoyable and enlightening evening together!
