Vocational Guidance – Second Round
At the last weekend of October, at our vocational guidance’s next guest was Krisztina Balogh, architect, head architect of Csurgó.
The attractive and educated architect had a very impressive presentation on her job, her career and on how to cope with being an architect as a woman. She also told about her brave plans and showed us how the place changed of the barock statue of Saint Florian. She told us how she uses her sense of humour and sometimes her feminity at some cases, told us about her family life, an admired father and about her desparation with which she prepared for her career.
After our talk, we invited our guest and also a mother there for a game. They chose a group for themselves and the task was to: build a tower (from 15 pieces of paper) as high as you just can. Krisztina’s group’s tower could not stand…we thought that this was because of the fact that the bottom needs to be strong enough. The other group’s tower was much stronger but not high enough.
