Zoo in Szeged
On April 21st, both groups from Szeged went to the city’s zoo.
Every child had a task to do. At home they could prepare an introduction of an animal in English and in Hungarian. They enjoyed telling they friends about the animal’s habitat and eating habits. Children were proud of being well prepared. David spent the day with us. Children used every minute to talk to him and they were much more talkative than they usually would be at the Community House. Meerkats were our favourites because their way of moving and behaving made us laugh a lot. We had a great weekend. During our walk in the zoo we learnt a lot and had the opportunity to use English in a real situation.
