The play is about the tragic story of two workers during the global economic crisis. John Ernst Steinbeck (1902-1968), Nobel-prize winner American writer observed the hard life of Californian workers and used these experiences for Of Mice and Men. The play received the Pulitzer-prize in New York.
The performance at Szeged was also a huge success among the children and their relatives.
“We would like to thank you for the opportunity that we could go to the theatre together. Although the play wasn’t a happy story, it was really thought-provoking and touching. I think we’ve had a lasting experience. :-)” Andrea Vidovenyecz, parent
