Lectures of the Airship Programme in Kaposvár
This weekend at the Foundation’s community house wasn’t less interesting and exciting than usually. We could take part in a first aid course with my group mates in Kaposvár. Dr. Kornél Kékes ambulance man from Budapest has come to us to present the main techniques of first aid.
At the lectures we discussed illnesses which are unfortunately quite common in our environment, such as epilepsy, diabetes and even drug addiction and alcoholism. We also learnt the importance of the first aid, and could practice the steps of lifesaving on a quite realistic manikin. I think we all preferred that part of the lecture. Having shown us how to do resuscitation the teacher let us practise one by one.
We tried as much as we can to be confident, precise and quick, just as we heard so at the lecture.
