At the Mobilis exhibition from Pécs
We were in the town of the rivers. The Mobilis Interactive Exhibition Centre in Győr was opened in 2012 and is unique in Europe.
We visited and tried the 74 interactive games of the permanent exhibition, which brings natural and technological sciences closer to people. Based on a scheduled time table, there are different chemical and physical experiments every day. We were examining the physical and chemical features of hot and cold. During the creative lessons, we immersed ourselves in the world of heat engines and special engines.
We have learnt that:
• acetone is good, not only for removing nail-varnish but also for performing spectacular burning tricks (O. Melinda, K.Mónika)
• physics can be studied in a more interesting way (J. Bianka)
We especially liked:
• vehicles made from recycled materials (K. Janó)
• with the help of traffic lights, we could calculate our reaction time (K. Vivi, M.-Sz. Emese)
• the Tour de Mobilis, where we could compete in groups against each other (J. Patrik, Sz. Andi)
• the lunch at the restaurant (J. Patrik)
• the shooting experiment with liquid nitrogen (B. Dóri)
• the interactive exhibition, as a whole, so I didn’t get bored (G. Dorka)
• we could see and try rare experimental tools (K. Dani)
• the colours and state of the art interior of the building, which served a perfect background for the photos uploaded onto our website (Sz. Gábor)
• I could see the newest model of Audi (I. Bendi)
• the vertical sections of internal combustion engines (G. Patrik)
• 800°C ‘hairdryer’ (P. Vivi)
• the modern university and its well-kept surroundings (T. Reni)
• bank note dipped into acetone which cannot be burnt (S. Misi)
