Tea afternoon with Julie
Today afternoon (22 January) an interesting programme awaited the members of group 3
We organised a tea afternoon with Julie when the children could meet original Chinese tea, they could learn how to make tea and also they could taste the different flavoured tea. First, Julie gave us fragrance samples to figure out how much we know about tea. We had to identify the tea leaves based on their smell. There were rose garden tea, Oolong jasmine tea, original Darjeeling black tea and China Chun green tea. We tasted the rose garden and jasmine tea first because they have milder taste than black or green tea. Then we tried the other two, first pure then with tea creamer and milk. Following this, we tasted the mixture of black and green tea spiced up with honey and vanilla pudding. Everyone had different opinion about the new tastes and there are children who are willing to drink tea with milk more often or with cream.
Thank you for this interesting and tasty afternoon!
