Parents’ Academy in Kaposvár
“The parents of Group 1 and 2 gathered together and had a pleasant conversation in the Parents’ Academy. The topic was more than relevant: What can we do to preserve our physical and mental health? During the first hour, one of our fellow parents, Rita Bene introduced us a bunch of carefully collected herbs and vegetables and talked about their benefits and the various ways of using them. We shared our personal experiences, and we came to the conclusion that it is really important to drink herbal tea on a regular basis, and to pay more attention to using fresh, natural ingredients in the kitchen to protect our physical well-being.
In the subsequent hour, we were interviewed by our psychologist Gyöngyi Nedevics about our spiritual health. Regarding our children’s or our own lives, we are in a more difficult position than 20-30 years ago. Our fast-paced world has radically altered human relationships, our children are more isolated, and they find the way to one another less easily. As parents, we have a great responsibility to help them become mature, self-confident, and purposeful adults. Again, we had a lovely time at the Parents’ Academy.” Zsuzsanna Vaskó, Group 2 of Kaposvár
