Parents’ Academy and parent-mentor meeting in Kaposvár
On June 2, the parents of Group 1 of Kaposvár gathered together for the Parents’ Academy which was followed by a parent-mentor meeting. As for the latter, we talked about the upcoming English and German language camps, and filled out the related parental statements and questionnaires.
„In the Community House of Kaposvár, parents and guardians of the children of Kaposvár Group 1 exchanged experience with Angéla Sárközi at the Parents’ Academy. Today’s accelerated world, the difficulties of generational differences in adolescence, our current problems proved to be a really good topic to talk about. Basically every age group was represented, so we talked a lot. Sasa started the programme with a music video, then we did various activities. I particularly liked when we could work in pairs. Once, for example, two of us were holding the same pen and we had to follow Sasa’s instructions. During the assignment we were not allowed to talk, so it was interesting to see how we could coordinate our movements and which one of us the leader was. At last, we had to write down what we would stop, start or continue doing based on today’s conversations. I can honestly say that we all had a great time together.” Szilvia Beáta Nyári, parent
