Rippl-Rónai Festival
Our famous painter, József Rippl-Rónai gave his name to a festival which is held in his home town, Kaposvár yearly. Members of three groups from Nagybajom visited the opening day of the festival (28th May).
The main street and Kossuth square was full of musicians, different street performers and tourists. During the 3 days of the festival there have been rich programs for all age groups. We visited exhibitions of local artists in the galleries of the town centre. Elder students and the small ones found interesting compositions either. We tasted traditional pastry horn made by local people. Everybody had a great time and we returned home with wonderful memories.
