We were in Debrecen with our mentors
With our mentors, Nagy Ildikó and Szabóné Lengyel Eszter we travelled to Debrecen on the 17th of June.
We went to the opening ceremony of the 16th Live Folk Art Tender Norther Great Plain Regional Exhibition because the felt works of our mentors were selected and exhibited.
At the opening ceremony they got the special award of the Municipality of Debrecen and Jászberény from the notary of Jászberény, Dr Gottdiener Lajos. In addition, Ms Eszter got another special award from the National Association of Industrial Corporation and from the Legendary Lore Cluster of the Great Plains. Congratulations!
Later on we went to the University of Debrecen where we may send our applications in two years’ time. The park and the fountains charmed us and we also went inside where we met many students waiting for their turns at the oral exam. As the last programme of the day we visited the zoo in Debrecen. As we walked around in the zoo we got to know its residents. Our favourites were the gibbon family and the giraffes. On our way home we had dinner in the Hortobágyi Csárda then we walked to the nine-hole bridge. And yes, it really has its nine holes. We were tired but filled with experiences when we got back home.
