A trip to Eger with Elisa
On 7th November, we spent an exciting afternoon in Eger with the local university students and our volunteer, Elisa.
After the arrival, Máté Tóth and Mátyás Darázs from Jászság 2 group held a little guidance at Dobó Square and its surroundings. After that, they had some adventurous experiences at a place called Exit House. It is a room escape experience, where they had to find the way out through interesting puzzles. After Mark Major and I finished our school duty, we joined the group too, while, unfortunately, Matyi had to leave for his lecture. When the group united, we had a light early dinner at a local restaurant, where Elisa could try goulash and Hortobágyi pancakes. After dinner, we visited the castle of Eger, where there wasn’t any guidance, but it was still magnificent the way it was. At the end of the day, we took a short visit in Szépasszony-völgy. Elisa could taste some excellent quality wines, and after all, she did not leave with an empty pocket, because she really wanted to get some of the finest Hungarian wines to take home, and there couldn’t have been a better occasion.
