Scare away winter weekend
The first weekend of February was full with great programs for all 3 groups (4th February).On Friday afternoon, they created carnival masks together. Saturday morning their tried their best at the last round of the language competition so hope everyone had a great accomplishment. Within the confines of a mentor class Kaposvár 1 discussed the results of the first term and the tender possibilities. In the afternoon, they went to the famous and popular Dorottya parade. The centre was full with folk dancers and masked people who created a phenomenal atmosphere. This was all for banish the winter away. The main attraction was the arrival of Lady Dorottya and carnival Prince who made a funny speech and afterwards to burn the ‘deda puppet’ (this symbolises winter). According to the tradition, it is the way to banish bad weather and urge spring. Kaposvár2 practiced for a singing competition and read some poems by Csokonai because this was related to the carnival. Thanks to one of their group mate, Lilla Fekete, they watched the Kaposvár-Pécs basketball game and they cheered to the local team. It was a classic match and an unforgettable experience for them. Kaposvár3 also had an exciting program after the language competition and the lessons. They visited a sports history exhibition which was interesting and because of it they got a wealth of knowledge. Finally, they watched a movie about a basketball coach and his instructive life.
All 3 groups had a very good time, it was an awesome weekend.
