Ceremonious opening
The students of the groups of Mohács took possession of their new community center on April 25. The founder, Dr. Csányi Sándor, together with Orbán Viktor the prime minister of Hungary and Csányi Erika simbolically handed the key of the house to the children.I believe that all the children will remember this day forever, since it is a milestone in our lives. All of us were excited since it is such a great thing to have our own beautiful building. We’ll regard this building our second home. We planned this day with great love. Csányi Sándor, the founder of the foundation, Csányi Erika, the president of the advisory board and Orbán Viktor, the prime minister of Hungary also took part at the ceremony together with other dear guests. We children also performed: Sik Maja from Mohács 2 a flute play, and I recited the ‘Akarom’ poem from Reményik Sándor. I can say that our performance was good, our mentors praised us for it. One of the best moments was, when the key of our new community house was handed to Beke Panna and Skutera Ferenc from Mohács 3, this key used to open the gate of the previous building that had stayed in the place of our new house before. We are thankful for the opportunities given to us by the Foundation. I can promise in the name of all of us that we are going to take care of this building and fill it with laughter, happiness, studying, pride, achivements and lots of nice memories. Szép Hanna from group Mohács 1.
On the 25 April our new community house was officially opened. We were very excited to finally move in. We prepared with a little performance, and I was a bit nervous, but Hanna recited her poem so beautifully, that all my nervousness faded away. Me and my friends had a great time. I am happy that Dr. Csányi Sándor, Csányi Erika and Orbán Viktor our prime minister also came to visit us. It was a very important day for us. Sik Maja , group Mohács 2.
It was an exciting day, because after the ceremony we played chess, while I had a little chat with Dr. Csányi Sándor and Orbán Viktor as well. I couldn’t play as well as I usually do due to my nervousness, but we only had friendly games, so nothing could disturbe my happiness. Kern Andor, group Mohács 2.
We were looking forward to the opening of our new center. We were excited because we knew that lots of guests, reporters and photographers would arrive. The best part was, when we received the key to our house, and from that time on this beautiful building would be really ours. Our guests really liked it, too, and we chatted with them a lot. After the ceremony we showed to our guests, how a usual day is spent at our house. We had our lessons, but also had time for playing football and just running around. It was an enourmously great day for me, because I had never had any day like this in my life before. I am glad everyone could see how beautiful our new building is. Berényi Dorina and Schochter Vanda, group Mohács 3.
