Open day in Pécs

Open day in Pécs

Our Foundation has launched a call for applications in Pécs for locally based primary schools in Pécs this school year. The mentors from Pécs visited the heads of the institutions and the fourth grade class teachers to the Foundation’s Life Path Programme, in particular the details of thethe selection process. For those interested had the opportunity to get a glimpse into the life of the “Csányi” in Pécs on Saturday 25 January, when we held an open day for children applying for the Pécs selection, parents and their teachers. At the open day we provided detailed informationon the process of Admission and the functioning of the Csányi Foundation. Afterwards, Ivett Majoros, a member of the Pécs 3 group, gave a personal presentation on her work and her personal experience of primary, secondary school and university years with the support of the Csányi Foundation. After the presentation, the mentors also introduced themselves and explained where they started aand what they are currently studying. During the programme, the participants were free to join in the interactive programmes:  Maker’s Red Box project, Englishlanguage, 3D printing, laser cutting, creative workshop and history project. Our junior mentors with their full-day presence helped us to work together and answered lots of questions.

The next Open Day, which we are looking forward to welcoming you to, will take place at the same place on 8 February. The deadline for applications is15 February, after which family visits can continue in the selection process.
