Parents’ Forum in Pécs
Before the end of the year, the group representatives met at the Pécs Community House to participate in the autumn session. The topics of the meeting were grouped around two main agenda points: the importance and expectations of the small-mentoring role at the Pécs Community House, and the building of useful connections within the Foundation, as well as programs between community houses.
To facilitate the effective execution of small-mentoring work, university students recorded in a table which weekends they would assist with ongoing projects, language development sessions, or enrichment programs during the given semester. This approach allows their work to be framed in a way that ensures regularity and transparency. It is important for them to deliver quality work, setting an example for the younger generation in this area as well.
Building connections between community houses can also be useful, as it allows for better understanding of the cultural life of various cities, for example through cultural programs, and helps in establishing and maintaining relationships.
See you in the spring!
