Football and chess competition in Kaposvár
“This school year, the Children’s Parliament is also launching a sports championships of football and chess. This year more than a hundred people entered the various sporting events. In keeping with tradition, the first sporting events in autumn start with the football and chess championships, which were held yesterday at the Klebelsberg College in Kaposvár. We were especially pleased that several girls entered the football tournament, so we were able to start two teams for them to compete against each other. The matches are also traditionally officiated by Ádám Papdi from Szeged, who has passed his official refereeing exam in previous years. It is also a pleasure to see that more and more people are entering our chess tournament every year, with 27 young people sitting down at the chess board this year”
