Family Day in Kaposvár
The weather was gloomy, but the mood was cheerful at the family day of Kaposvár Group 1, which we held on Saturday, September 28th, at the Kaposvár Community House.
“When I looked out the window on Saturday morning, I got a little worried because I saw it was pouring rain, and I wasn’t sure how family day would turn out if we couldn’t go outside. Luckily, we didn’t get bored despite the weather. Along with the group activities, we had plenty of time to chat and laugh together. In the morning, the parents were responsible for preparing lunch. A team of dads set up the grill in the garage (to avoid getting wet), and once the coals were hot, they started grilling sausages, hot dogs, and cheese. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, the moms made salads. We kids did crafts, painted rocks, drew, worked on diamond mosaics, played board games, and, of course, helped out whenever needed.
In the afternoon, we watched the films made at the arts and crafts camp and then went back to doing some more crafts and chatting. The day went by wonderfully—the lunch was delicious, we laughed a lot, and it was great to have our families with us.”
