Announcement of Results – Polgar Judit Chess Competition

The Polgar Judit Chess Foundation, in collaboration with the Csányi Foundation, announced a competition for fifth graders of the Csányi Foundation on the theme of “Inspiration.” The winners of the competition received their awards at the 10th World Chess Festival.

Poster Category:

1. 1st Place: Emese Ráczga – Member of the Mohács Group 3 – Created a well-prepared poster on the theme of Inspiration.
2. 2nd Place: Hanna Katona – Member of the Mohács Group 3 – Creator of a work that centers on chess, flavored with personal experiences.
3. 3rd Place: Boglárka Börcsök – Member of the Szeged Group 1 – Achieved third place with a colorful, creative work.

PPT Presentation and Video Category:

1. 1st Place: Barnabás Somogyi – Member of the Mohács Group 3 – Achieved a podium position with a presentation containing his own chess successes and experiences.
2. 2nd Place: Lili Fölker – Member of the Mohács Group 3 – A beautifully and thoughtfully created PPT that reflects her personality.
3. 3rd Place: Krisztofer Budai Zoltán – Member of the Szeged Group 1 – The creator of the presentation emphasizes that the digital world can also be used for personal development.

Essay Category:

1. 1st Place: Melinda Tímea Lakatos – Member of the Szeged Group 1 – Concisely summarized the six elements that inspire her in life.
2. 2nd Place: Denissza Szász-Nica – Member of the Mohács Group 3 – Submitted a piece reflecting deep emotions.
3. 3rd Place: Dominik Sándor – Member of the Kaposvár Group 3 – For him, music and family provide the greatest inspiration.

The winning entries were selected from 49 submissions.
