School Year Kick-Off Barbecue in Kaposvár
Kaposvár Group 1 kicked off the 2024/25 school year with a barbecue party at the Kaposvár Community House. The children had plenty of stories to share, as they hadn’t seen each other in a long time. They eagerly recounted their summer experiences and caught up on what had happened to them in recent weeks. In the afternoon, we discussed what to expect this school year, the projects we would be working on, and the tasks they would have to complete this year.
We also watched a few short films together, which had been made during the interdisciplinary arts camp. After we went over everything, the grilling began, with the group members actively participating. The sausages were sizzling, the rolls were toasting, and the salad was being prepared—almost none of which was left, as the kids ate everything.
“I had a really great time at our barbecue. I’m happy I finally got to meet everyone and that we could catch up. I also helped with the grilling, and I have to say the hot dogs we made together were really, really delicious. We have a lot of tasks ahead this year, as we’re starting a new project and signing up for the language competition, but I’m really looking forward to it,” said Jakab Olivér from Kaposvár Group 1.
