Our first experiences in Szeged
“On Saturday, as the first joint program of the Szeged groups, we visited the Mórahalom buffalo reserve, where our Csányi friends showed us their favorite bird photography spots and the bird species living there. During the morning spent together, we managed to observe and photograph many interesting bird species. During our tour with Péter bácsi, we observed feeding black terns and spoonbills, summer geese leading their chicks, mute swans, and stilts defending their territories.
It was very exciting. The swan chicks were the most eye-catching for us.
Afterward, at the House, we cheered for the Hungarian national football team, watched our opening match at the European Championship on a big screen, and completed a football quiz. We planned the freshman camp, had lunch together, and played until the evening.
Some participated in logic games, a few played football outside, and then we brainstormed for our starting projects together. We are already looking forward to the summer trip!”
