“Watch Out! Get Ready! Drive!”
On May 27, 2024, I held the presentation for my “Watch Out! Get Ready! Drive!” competition. First, I explained why I created the presentation, encouraging them to see the potential benefits of participating. The topic I chose was safe driving and transportation, as I believe it is important to know how to safely navigate as pedestrians and cyclists. I was pleased to see how knowledgeable my young groupmates were about traffic rules. I also discussed how many accidents are caused by carelessness and speeding. I tried to make the presentation interactive to engage the children in learning, as they tend to learn better this way. In addition to sharing facts, I also shared my own experiences, and they shared theirs with me and each other as well.
